Capire la fonera

Bisogna studiare per capire la filosofia. Lo stesso vale per entrare nella capoccia di chi ha fatto dd-wrt:

the interfaces in ap mode are bridged per default if wan setup is configured to disabled.

in wds-sta its bridged as well and in client bridge mode too.

Fonera repeater

First disable WAN interface and set a static ip for the LAN, under Setup tab. Then go to Wireless tab and set the wireless mode to Client Bridge, set the SSID to the name of the original wireless SSID and at the bottom of the page add a virtual interface.

Save settings and apply. You need to reboot the Fonera to the VAP to start working.

There's a quirk, you must first be connected to another AP before your vap's start broadcasting a beacon.

Per quelli che se lo stanno chiedendo.. VAP significa Virtual Access Point.
